Debut album from Cleveland’s Ernie Krivda ‘Satanic’ was recorded in 1977 and the lead track ‘The Three Legged Dance’ certainly boils and snarls with an urgent, pulsating groove underpinned by almost tribal drums and Ernie’s rasping tenor sax wailing away. The menacing ‘Munchkin’ follows a similar path while ‘The Song Of The Moon’ is a less frantic, more spiritual affair in parts. The delicate ‘The Piper’ offers light and space while ‘La Festival’ thunders along at breakneck pace.
