FoMoFlo ‎– No. 11 (1997, CD, Japan)

FoMoFlo was a short-lived international collaboration featuring Amy Denio, Dennis Gunn, Hoppy Kamiyama, Tada Makio, and Tatsuya Honda.

Dennis Gunn is a Singer Songwriter Guitarist with strong pop roots but one who forged his craft in the crucible of the Tokyo avant guard scene and in Bands Such as Mighty John Henry brings his powerful blend of catchy hooks and sublimely unique soundscapes to a highly collaborative effort by fellow indy luminaries Hoppy Kamiyama and Tada Makio, on the Tokyo Side and Seattle Indy Diva and multi instrumentalist Amy Denio.
In the words of Bill Khune… “Zappaesque. Without the sophomoric lyrics, thank you very much….”

Musicians: Amy Denio, saxophones, bass, vocals; Dennis Gunn, guitars, vocals, banjo, mandolin; Tada Makio, drums; Honda Tatsuya, bass; Hoppy Kamiyama, keyboards, tapes, trombone, violin, hose; The Billy Tipton Memorial Saxophone Quartet (Amy Denio, Jessica Lurie, Barbara J. Marino, Maya Johnson).
