Ze Eduardo is a Portuguese double bass player who has played for many Portuguese and Spanish artists including Max Sunyer, Toti Soler, Rao Kyao, Jose Afonso and Julio Pereira. This is the second album released in 1990 by Ze Eduardo Unit, a group of up-and-coming Spanish musicians. As with their previous album, "Unities", the group's music is a free-form crossover jazz with a unique approach. I recommend the ethno-jazz track A1, which has a cool exotic groove with elements of Turkish folk music.
