John Greaves Peter Blegvad - Live Rhone & The Lodge (England)

The live premiere of Kew Rhone, 32 years after John Greaves & Peter Blegvad (ex Henry Cow/ Slapp Happy) recorded this masterpiece!
First with an acoustic band and young French musicians, amongst them the talented Jeanne Added who makes more than compensate the absence of original singer Lisa Herman.
Then about a year later, the duo assembled a full band and called Lisa Herman back to play this epic again, this time very much true to its original form.
And as if it wasn't enough for our delight, the Kew Rhone performance from 2008 was preceeded by The LODGE, another recreation of the short-lived band Greaves, Blegvad and Herman had formed in 1987.
